Old Town Roofing came in with a VERY competitive bid to replace the aging shake roof on one of my rental properties. They were not the cheapest bid, but I felt most comfortable going with them. Their estimate included a building permit right off the bat, which made me feel a little more comfortable. I had a few estimates that said permit was optional, which made me feel a little uneasy.
They took care of the replacing the roof, repairing some dry rot, and installing new gutters. The dry rot repair was extra an $400; unfortunate, but not unreasonable.
They started work a week after I accepted the estimate. Work started on Friday and they were done by Tuesday the following week. I had no issues throughout the process. This rental property is over an hour from my house, so we did the entire transaction via email, phone, and text message. Payment was made through Zelle and by check, deposited directly into their account; no need for me to drive an hour to the job site to pay them.
Overall, I loved their promptness, their ability get the job done quickly, and their flexibility in payment options. Really good experience. They are definitely my first call the next time I need roof work done.

It is a family business and the people are very respectful of your property and took care to clean up daily as they worked. Geronimo was responsible for the job and kept me informed about the condition of my old roof and support. The pricing to replace my tile roof was competitive and I highly recommend this company. I had to follow the requirements of the HOA for the replacement and they were able to match the tiles and colors easily for the HOA approval. They remove the bin each day with the old materials in order to meet HOA restrictions. I had the original roof from 1976 replaced and could not be happier with the work

I highly recommend Old Town Roofing. I had a leak due to a broken roof vent and a few tiles. I called for a estimate and Geronimo came the next day. He told me what my issue was, and gave me my quote which was very reasonable. I was scheduled in, and they came 3 days later. The work was completed super fast and Geronimo showed me pictures of the work that was completed, as well as the old vent. This is a very professional company all the way to the receptionist. I will definitely call them whenever I need work done.

My husband and I went with Old Town Roofing because of the excellent reviews and the longevity of the company. Geronimo Mercado oversaw everything to the end along with his excellent crew. Old Town quoted us a price and that's what we paid unlike another person who would not give us a quote until he started the job (what good is a quote right?) When having contractor bid on your re-roofing job, there are 3 types on Contractors. The Premiere, Gold Certified, High Roller roof master contractor that will give you an estimate that is twice the price of everyone else. ( He does quality work at a premium cost). Then there is low ball ( doesn't want to pull a permit) short cutter, shoddy work, half the price, hidden charges, outta business next week guy.
Then there's Old Town Roofing with the owner operator Geronimo. His price was most competitive of the legitimate roofing contractors. He pulled a permit and supervised the job from start to finish. He stripped my 32 year old shake roof, repaired the fascia, new low profile vents, 30 years GAF shingles, and new seamless gutters. Geronimo worked sided by side with his roofers and did an excellent Job. I have a big pitched roof with dormers and many steep grades. His craftsmanship was really superior. My roof looks like slate. He knocked out the project in 4 days, he was on-time and under budget. Geronimo is real deal.
